GLAD TIDINGS OF GREAT JOY!

We congratulate Megan McNeil, daughter of Anthony and Penny and senior at Remington High School, who was awarded the Parish Scholarship for being an outstanding young steward in our parish. All the candidates who applied have been active in a variety of ways. May God bless Megan and all our seniors as they graduate and move into the next stage of their education and lives.

We welcome Rob Tierney to our parish staff who was hired to help with parish ministry needs. Rob will be taking on a new position and will serve as Coordinator of Parish Ministry. His position will combine two main areas of parish ministry: the music for our liturgies, and religious education / faith formation. He will also have a lesser degree of other responsibilities and duties. Rob and his wife, Charisse both have degrees in music, have five children, and have been parishioners of St. Mary Parish for seven years.

We want to express much thanks to Evelyn Stabler and Kathy Schwarzenberger who have both worked so diligently on the music for our parish liturgies. Kathy is stepping away from the adult choir and Evelyn will be working in conjunction with Rob on the music.

Also, we express much thanks to Rachel Boden and Carrie Reida who have coordinated the PSR Program for our elementary and middle school youth. And thanks also to Kathy Chouinard, Monica Davis, Fred Becker and Linda Bennett who kept our high school youth ministry (CYM) going and thriving. Also, to the parents who have helped out in our High School Confirmation Program. All of these programs will still need to have the active enlistment of adult volunteers, but the supervision will now be under the coordination of Rob Tierney. We thank God for blessing our parish in so many ways with so many active parishioners.
